some guys on the beach drive around in this truck and sell pina coladas (non alcholic) and these coconut drinks...they are soooooo delicious! they were the best. The food was good. I ate lots of seafood. No lobster though, they said it was the wrong time of year. The water was too warm.
The people were very nice. I learned some new Spanish words. Very helpful.
During the low tide there are tide pools and that was cool to look for sea creatures.
It is very poor there. If it something that is hard for you to be around I wouldn't recomend where we went.Lots of stray dogs.

NO AC, in most of the shops and very dirty. My husband took his dirt bike and went riding and said just outside of town is the "dump" miles and miles of trash. No one trying to make it organized like the dumps here. He said it was horrible. There is also a lot of trash in the water. Very hot and humid.
My friends go to Mazatlan two or three times a year and LOVE it! It is much farther south, they fly. Not as dirty or poor.
WE had a lot of fun but we wont go back, maybe Ensanada it's much more turisty there and cleaner. Especially where the boats come in. I don't recommend that part of Mexico we went to
