I've always wondered if there's a way to track the people that sign up under our name. For example, when we send out e-mails, etc getting people to sign up, is there a way to have those people listed once they've signed up so we know exactly which of our friends are on TT? That way we can add them to our buddies if, by chance, they don't mention that they've signed up. Does that make sense?
Also - what about a live chat room of some sort for people to talk while they're online browsing? Might be a cool way to get to know others and talk about the good finds, etc...? I'd sure sign on - don't know about anyone else though.
I love both of your suggestions. I always look to see who is on the forum when I log in. This way I feel a connection. Maybe when someone signs up as a forum member there could be a symbol or something after their name so when you search a book you can recognize a forum member. Not to exclude trading with anyone but the forum members have to be the most informed and not as likely to make a bad trade. I have 3 books that I mailed around the 11th and I have been sending emails to the supposed receivers but I have had no response from them. If they were forum members I am sure they would be more likely to communicate with me. I learn something new everyday about TT from the forums. (Thank you Bill, Torchy @ Cinderella) Again love your suggestions.
