I'm really having a time trying to find a way to do labels with postage on them. I have only been able to find 1 way, and it costs for each label generated. And if we don't do more than $200 in labels per month we're charged $200 anyway. So heres my question:

-Is anyone willing to pay $.50 to have a label printed with postage? This is in addition to regular postage.

-At some point we have to stop "covering" lost and damaged items. Would you pay the fee if it meant you were covered for lost and damaged items?

-If you wouldn't pay $.50, what would you pay? (the fee goes down with the more labels we print per month, but we'd have to get to that level)

-What if there was a discount on the labels for premium members? Say $.40 each?

Please answer honestly... because I don't want to spend the time and $ to get it setup to have nobody use it and have fees on top of that for nobody using it.

On another note... Nobody noticed the little changes that came up in the last week??? Wink

I wouldn't pay for labels with postage on them. It's cheaper and easier for me to just go to the post office or stick a handful of stamps on my packages.

I wouldnt pay it either. I always take my packages to the po and have them weighed and see which way is cheaper, Media or First class.

I noticed other editions listed in my book searches...other than that... I am a slacker and must have missed it. Frowner

*** My thoughts on postage paid labels are that people who like/use stamps.com because they do large volume mailings would use this.

I have to cast my ballot for, wouldn't use it. I make postal trips everyday for work, just bring my books along for the ride.

No, I really wouldn't pay extra for postge labels. I either go to the po near my home or just stick stamps on----I already have to hide how much I really spend of postage!!!LOL

If the labels provide the cost of shipping, tracking and insurance, I definately would use it.

Sorry, Dan, I too am oblivious to the changes. Sorry!

I just signed up for stamps.com. The total monthly fee is $14.99 and between the books I send out and stuff for my company, I will end up paying only $.06 each. I do think that delivery confirmation should be required though. I think that if people don't use it, they shouldn't get their point back if the package is lost.
So that's my 2 cents Smiler

I wouldn't use it because I send everything with delivery confirmation and I like the post office to scan it in when I pay for postage. They have a bad habit of losing items that I throw stamps on and toss in the drop box without being scanned first. Plus I enjoy annoying my disgruntled postal worker with 20 packages a week.

I don't agree with having to pay extra for the convienience of printing my own postage. It's cheaper for the post office for us to take the expense of printing, than it is to show up..take up a postal employees time and use their stamps.

I have never been able to get the labels to print out for me, so would probably never use them.
I also get PO to weight to send cheaper way from first class or media mail.

Dan, Harlee and I both saw the changes.....Library Trader. Not real sure what it's all about, but we have been discussing it.
I haven't felt much like being on the computer lately and
I figured by the time I got to the forums today, someone would have been talking about it.

So.......please tell us what it's all about??

When you click on a book in the inventory...look at the tabs, it's called Library Thing (I had it wrong in the previous post)
