One thing that might work well would be to have design 4 on the front, smallish, in the breastal area, then design 1 on the back, larger.
Also, for design 1, if it is going to become an e-mail address, should it be FREEBOOKS@Titletrader.com, with no spaces? I like the idea of doing www.titletrader.com, instead of an e-mail address, that will bring people directly to the site without the additional step of sending an e-mail. FREEBOOKS@Titletrader.com is more amusing, but maybe not as practical.
(Sorry to be putting in my 2 cents on the design at the poll stage rather than the discussion stage)

I like the 4th design but I would change it so there are dvd,s and cd,s stacked. I would leave out the vhs and magazines. Also those top 2 books are going to fall over and hurt somebody, so lets get rid of them.

How about a mix of dvd's, cd's & books ?
Due to the recent downward spiral of TT I've decided to leave for a better trading environment. I may return if TT becomes a fun place to trade and interact again. Until then I bid you all a farewell.

I really like this idea. In fact it's the first graphic idea that has appealed to me at all, since I've always thought we should stick with the TT logo.
Now, Dan & Maggie....are you gonna change the site logo to incorporate all the different "stuff" since it's not just books? Just curious.

This discussion makes me think that it would be great if the T shirt included books, discs (which could represent DVDs and DVs), and VHS, because one of the beauties of this site is that you can trade so many different things, and cross trade. The same could be said for a modest redesign of the logo.
What if the TitleTrader logo (excluding the books & adding www. & .com) were added to design #2 (fixing the mailbox so that it doesn't look like someone beat it in the middle with a bat)?
I say this because, since it will be on a t-shirt, people who have never heard of TitleTrader won't know off hand what TT is and might assume that it's a concrete store name. Since more and more people are using the internet to shop, seeing that design would give them the "convenience of home" feeling to know that the stuff they request comes right to their mailbox.
Hopefully NYT will understand what I'm saying and put a graphic with my description as I am still not sure how to do that.

I was reading this... my first reaction was that the mailbox was a little dented as well. At the time these were very loose ideas for maggie to perhaps take back to the graphic artists.
Off topic but I made up a little media mail box (good enough for me) to add to my return address so perhaps cut back on "opened for inspection"
Perhaps if they understand these are all being sent because we belong to a media trade site.....

I don't really see the mailbox as being dented. Just think of it as mailbox jam-packed with goodies you have received through titletrader.
