If you go to the "my requests" link on the site, then click on "receives", your pending receive requests are listed, as well as the condition of the item, plus any comments the sending trader typed in when originally posting the item.

I wouldn't mind getting the same result when clicking "sends". I think it would be nice to have handy the condition I selected, and the comments I posted about items I'm sending out. This would be a handy reference, especially if a receiving trader is questioning the condition of what you sent them. I haven't had this happen yet, but I'm sure some of you have.

Any possibilities with this? Thanks!!!

I second this!

Then I can check and see if I listed the crack in the case, or if I dropped it since listing!

Dan, do you think this can be added to your "to do" list?

And I will chime in to third or fourth (as the case may be) this very good suggestion. It has been made before, but is ever more relevant with the growth of TT.

Cool

I'm not new - and I agree wholeheartedly! There have been many times I wished I could see how I listed the book. Fortunately I've never needed to see the condition because of feedback....but it still would be nice.

This problem came up just this week! I couldn't remember how I listed a book and actually emailed the person who requested it to make sure that she was o.k. with a little shelf ware on it. This would be very helpful!

Oh..I got snagged because of this too ...actually the books are going out today. Someone requested two books from me, I pull them.... 1st book no problem...I must have listed it as like new..the second one... oh geez.. pages are yellowed and someone wrote their phone number on the pb cover in pen. :: thinking to herself:: did I mention that in the description, did they request it KNOWING that?

( Me, personally, I do like accurate descriptions, but I just want to read the book so cond just has to be acceptable/readable most of the time. oh AND ..lol. not perfumed... I have no allergies but nose dripping because the scent tickles so- is not attractive nor conducive to reading. Any books like that....get banned until they are aired out enough to resume their rightful throne on my bookcase) Big Grin

Well hopefully it doesn't look bad, but I canceled her/his request for the second one- sent off a quick msg explaining why - and said I would send both, please use their second point for something else.

edited by cat.
