I have seen some excessive pricing in my days on TT, but the double listings pale in comparison to this. One videogame listed for not 1 or 2 points, no not good enough for ccurcillo. She is charging 73 points for Zork Zero and 29 points for Planetfall. I recently sold a 24v drill for 10 points, now tell me which would you rather have?

I'm not sure if this was a mistake on her part, or if she really believes someone will pay that much. Judging by the rest of the inventory she does inflate prices slightly, but not to this absurd level. Hopefully this post will point out her mistake / shame her into pricing these at reasonable levels for those that wish to have them.

Amazon says this: 1 used & new available from $733.58

No pun intended but for this rotten game I wouldnt even pay 1 point.

73 points, I think it is entertaining.

Well, if that game is REALLY on Amazon for $733, then her listing it for 73 points is kind of a "bargain" (stop laughing). If a TT point sells for $5 (or even less if you buy from most people around $3), then you're getting it for like half of what you'd pay on Amazon, right? Is that the highest price thing we've seen on here? (I mean, "real" thing that someone listed seriously, not as a joke.)

Just because somebody lists something for hundreds of dollars on amazon (or anywhere else) doesn't make it worth anything...

It usually is just someone or some company being greedy... If amazon charged any kind of listing fees, they wouldn't be listing it at all...

If you want to view the effects of ccurcillo's inflation tactics, just look to barterbee.

I have had but one dealing with the guy. In that, his tactics were made known. Deleting item descriptions and entering in minor yet seriously altered details is not something that can be pulled over on Chico.

amirite?

The shaming work I got a price reduction! Oh wait, it is still astronomically overpriced. I guess I'll take my small victory and urge people not to trade with anyone that inflates prices or employs the tactics described by Chico.

He had 9 bad trades there... And keeps his username to use on other sites? Duh

If I were a criminal, I'd be much smarter than that... Anyone who would even attempt to list something for 73 points doesn't belong here...
