I previously sent a TT member 4 CDs with delivery confirmation. I sent the member the DC number so that it could be tracked. Meanwhile the person sent me nasty notes looking for the CDs even though they could see the tracking. Anyway the person did get the CDs and gave me positive feedback.
Well the same member then requested another three CDs from me. I sent them out on 12/27 with DC and e-mailed the TT member the DC number so that it could again be tracked. The member responded with thanks.
On 1/9 the impatient TT member e-mailed me a nasty note looking for the CDs. I looked up the DC information and was able to see where the package presently is. However the member has now given me two negative and nasty feedbacks saying the CDs weren't ever received. The three CDs were in the same box - how could the member give me two negative and one positive!!!!!
You would think that the TT member realized how long the first package took and would realize the same amount of time would happen for the second package. And to top it all off, earlier this week the TT member requested another CD from me!!
How can I dispute the negative feedbacks that this person has given me without justification?
Unfortunately I don't think you can. Only the person who leaves feedback can dispute.
However there should be a dispute button for both sides in my opinion. Maybe try e-mailing the person and explain? I know some users as much as you try to explain they still don't understand but it's worth a shot.

This is the same subject that came up about a week ago. The trader who posted the problem was pziemlewicz. Buckle up before you read that thread though.
Here is something from the FAQs:
"What if I don't receive an item I request?" "We ask that when you request an item from our collection that you provide feedback for the sender of the item. Please allow at least 30 days before assuming the item will not arrive because media mail can sometimes be slow. If an item you request is never received, make sure you try to contact the user. If you don't get a response leave the user negative feedback. After that you can go to My Requests, then Request History, and use the dispute link next to the item you have not received. The transaction will be reviewed and you will get your point back."
Perhaps you could copy and paste this section of the FAQs into an email to the receiver.
I am going to take a look at your fb. I want to be sure I don't accept requests from this person. They sound so impatient, and it would drive me bonkers.

Are you planning on sending /did you send the ones requested earlier this week?
I don't mind an email, especially with the length of time between the 27th and the 9th.. holidays and all, just to check in, BUT with DC (and a good thing you use it) there should be no need.
I doubt this person will get their credit back because there was DC. Not wishing to rec. anymore negatives, I probably would have also stop acceptting requests from the same user.

You're right about this person being impatient. I send out my requests usually the next day. With the first swap this person e-mailed me within a week asking me about the status of the shipment! I was leery with the second request remembering the impatient status request and the nasty e-mail even though I had provided the DC# in my first reply but I went ahead and shipped the second package believing that the person would remember the 19 days for the first shipment.
Somehow I get the feeling that this is a young person because of how the e-mails are worded and how the address has been submitted in TT.
Thank you so much for the FAQ quote. I searched on the word "feedback" and got so many retrievels. After scanning through them I must have missed the one from last week that's just like my situation. The quote from the FAQs is perfect. I will send an e-mail to this member with this information. I think I will offer to not cancel this pending request if they update their feedback once they receive the package.

The wording of that is very nasty... "Whatever were you thinking?"
I like the way Sleepy said it a lot better, and Sleepy gave a positive too!!
I've traded with the other trader jem--- only as the reciever of what was sent... not particularly a great trade, so I can't believe they give out feedback so willy-nillily... Well, there's only so much that you can do to make people happy--- Best thing to think of is that with time, those 2 negs will get buried with mountains of positives--- And hopefully that the one who gave the neutral will get buried under an avalanche hehehehe

I had a recent scuttle with this one too. After reviewing her feedback left, I made mental note to pay more attention to this in the future.
(i offered to send add'l items to supplement, and she said no need, then just changed the feedback. it's like she was just waiting to see how you'd respond to the cranky emails.)
You know I just read her feedback left and she really takes the cake, doesn't she? She blames us for the reason people don't want to be on forums ~ well I wonder how many people she has discouraged from TT with her comments? I'm sure telling someone to "Hit the road." and calling another "LIAR" made their day
