A couple observations/questions...

I've noticed recently that many of the older mainstream movies (i.e. 2004, 2005, 2006), which were priced at 2pts are now priced at 3 pts, BUT not all of them. I tried to list a couple 2005 mainstream movies and they are still 2 pts, whereas a 2003 movie I tried to list was 3 pts. Very confusing. What is the criteria here? I had thought the 3pt price was for very new movies.

And, if the older movies are now worth 3 pts, will the price of books go up? It would seem reasonable that if a 4 or 5 year old movie is worth 3 pts, then a new(ish) hardcover book should also be worth 3 pts, perhaps trade size softcovers should be worth 2 and the smaller paperbacks 1pt.

Also, will the Custom listings be coming back? There is currently no way to enter any number of items - apparel, jewelry, toiletries, knicknacks, etc. etc. that were commonly being traded here before.

Just curious about the new changes!

I think the pricing here is based on the $$price it is on Amazon. Some older stuff is more rare and used price actually can be higher than new. (in my case - one book I was looking for = 4 times the value if I had bought it new back in the 80's)

I noticed lately that even some new HC releases came up at 3pts so it looks like books are now following that rule too.

Logically I suppose that would encourage people to read those newer books and get them listed here before the price drops Wink

I tried to list a brand new XBOX 360 Sonic the Hedgehog video game and it said it was only worth 2 points. That doesnt seem right to me. I paid over 50 for it at sears last Christmas. This new TT is weird.

What is the current used Amazon price on it? 2 pts = approx $10.00 since points are sold at $5.00 each here.

Here's a link to where it is selling on Amazon, retail price of $19.99 used of $12 and up.

I really wouldn't rely on Sears for media purchases as they are pretty inflated. You'll have better prices at Best Buy, Target or Walmart. Unfortunately games have a very low resale rate after just a few months.
