I'm trying to post a picture in my post (from photobucket) and all I get is the url, not the picture! Is anyone else having a problem? I followed the directions, but I must be missing something (probably something really obvious). Any suggestions?

Seems to be working ...just posted a image from my Photobucket acct. Trying another...




Basically it is just the link with

  [img]  and [/img] 

on each end.

I've tried it with all three and still no picture!

I pick IMG code (easier if you are on photobucket selecting an image anyways) then come here and just paste it in my post or I just use the direct link there and either use the little picture icon on the post box, inserting the url OR type in my own

 [img] and [/img] 

on each side of the pasted URL.

Might be a browserthing with msjane.

I just looked it the quote from the picture that doesn not work. It there are two opening img-tags and two closing img-tags.

Sleepy - Now I'm really confused!

Where did you get the picture - from my photobucket album?

I've tried all the same ways NYT says she uses - I've pasted it in my post, I've pasted it in the image block, and I've pasted it in the url block. But when I click OK all that shows in my post is the url. I'll have to check my computer settings, this is new computer and maybe something needs to be unchecked!

I think Sleepy hit on the problem.

You do have IMG and /IMG twice.
If you are posting the IMG code from Photobucket, you don't need to put it in ANY block. Just add it to your text.

Below is how your img code was in your post.
See how IMG is twice at the beginning and the /IMG is twice at the end?

She removed the duplicates and posted your image.

That's what's confusing - sometimes it comes from photobucket with the two IMGs, even though it only shows one when I select it.



This time it came with one IMG but still no picture!
