Yeah, I unfortunately fell victim to 37Hawk. However, we can thank msrubyruth for allowing them to rip off the system of points and product from others by leaving early feedback on good faith.

PLEASE do NOT leave feedback for new traders until a product is IN HAND!! We all had to wait until feedback was received to be able to start trading. It is a fail safe in place to make sure this crap doesn't happen.

This user just joined on 4/22, has 35 requests (I was the first), and hasn't logged in since 4/26. Not one feedback yet, doesn't answer e-mails, and is obviously not coming back or sending out dvds.

This just really ticks me off that I waited like 2 months to get back those 4 credits from another dispute when the lady scammed a bunch of people, and now this guy scams a ton of people - and takes those same 4 credits - and now I have to wait who knows how long to get this resolved.

Are these 4 credits of mine cursed or something? These last few months I really seem to understand all of the animosity towards this site.

I'm sure it doesn't make you feel any better, but on the bright side, at least with the change in the prerequisite --before you can request you must receive feedback -- the abuse level has been diminished.

In about a week or two when everyone who requested reaches a month's wait and if this person is still unresponsive, and items don't show up, looks like Dan is going to have his hands full with disputes.

I can understand your frustration and it does seem your credits have a spell on them!
I'm just curious if your DVD was ever marked shipped? This person's not listed "on vacation" and they have a huge inventory posted (even wishlist items); it makes me wonder why a person would go to all that trouble and then not follow through! Unless they didn't realize they would need feedback in order to make a request.

I am also involved in this djpostl trader.
I requested a dvd set they were asking 5 points for.....discs only....and I emailed and asked if they would take 3 points since they did not have cases or artwork. They agreed and made a special listing in my name. I requested it on April 22 and they marked shipped right away. Since then, no item, no response to emails...... and out 3 points.

Luckily, 3 of those 35 must have seen the forum post because they were able to cancel their request because the trader hasn't logged in to mark theirs as shipped.

The other 32 of us are just up the creek without a paddle.

What sucks is that I still have not received my one little point back from the dispute filed on April 1 for LaMorenita.

Getting real close to pulling all my inventory. I have been a member of Titletrader since August 2005 and this is the closest I have ever been to leaving because of lack of support. I know Dan has his hands full, but other folks recently got their points back... feeling a little neglected here.

I did receive a good book today that has been on my wishlist a long long time! Thank you susyn242!!!!!

I have requested a book from "mnwbend" for 2 points. A week later it had not been shipped so I contacted them three times, with no response.

Then "mnwbend" posted the exact same book again for 3 points.

"Mnwbend" has no inventory, no feedback. I smell a scam, so I left negative feedback.

I tried to use the "Dispute" mechanism back in February on another matter, but as of May 16, 2008, I am still waiting for ANY response from that dispute, let alone my point back.

However with "mnwbend" there is no "Dispute" link to use as they never marked it "Shipped".

I tried the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the forums page, but I get a message saying it is undeliverable.

Why is there no mechanism to cancel requests?
Why does the dispute route take so long?
Why can't I even initiate a Dispute on this guy?
What else can I do to get my points back?
