I recently sent messages to 4 outstanding books...1 on Pbs, 1 on TT and 2 on BM.
I have sent these books out and have DC that they have been delivered yet the requesters have not marked them as received.
On PBS...since I didn't use PBS DC code I am out a point, I sent this book FIRST CLASS!! The person says she lives in an apt. blg and never received the book and thus EVEN WITH USPS dc..won't mark the book received. She "hopes" the book will be returned to me... HOGWASH!!
HERE ON TT the person says she didn't receive the book, and will go ask the local office if they have it behind the desk, and WONT MARK THE BOOK RECEIVED as she never received it...
No word back yet from the BM'ers..

I have had this happen 1 time before on PBS and the person said they had not received the book but because USPS marked it delivered they would let me have the credit anyway...
I have had this happen---as ME the RECEIVER on FR and when I didn't get the books and the FR shipper had DC that it was delivered I marked it received and took the loss of points...I assume it was stolen from my doorstep in my rural home of a town of 300 people (not bloody likely)...but the person should not have to had suffer cuz DC said it was delivered, I have to have faith in the USPS and I have to give credit to the member who spent extra money to send it with DC. It is MORAL.

Why can't more people be honest, and if this is a USPS problem, why can't they at least let you have the flipping point since you have proof USPS said it was delivered....

I can't believe that all 4 books had not arrived to the destination....

AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG All told, I have spent around 10 dollars for 4 points that I have not received....... THANKS for nothing mooches..

I've only had that happen once to me, but the trader I was sending to wouldn't lie about it.


Anyways,I do agree, if you have added DC to your package seems that is enough proof to get your point returned.

Gripe away, I think we have all had stories that border the absurd and ridiculous, I know I have had things happen that make me think... my god, what are the odds of this happening ?!?

I have 4 items that were recived weeks ago and the recivers have not left feedback. I left one message asking them to please do so. But nothing. I really wish they would.

Not much consolation but you did receive the TT point when you marked the book shipped - it doesn't wait for the feedback. If you have the DC receipt, I don't think TT will take away your point. As for the others - ????

your right MSJANE but I worry a requester will come back later and say they never got the item. I like feedback so I am sure it was recived. two of mine finally left feedback two to go.

Thanks guys..I feel better today I was just really burned after getting emails back from the TT person and the PBS person saying even though DC verified they wouldnt give me the point since they didn't get it.
And Ms. Jane...thank you too..you are right, I only lost the PBS point, not the BM and TT points...that was a good thing to remind me....I was just REALLY upset yesterday..you.....and thank goodness...this really is an abberation, I have been trading books since September of last year and I think I am over 600 books sent and this is the first steady stretch of "bad luck"...most peeps on these forums are just like you and me!
